Cigar Aficionado has chosen the Felipe Power Special Robusto as the number 18 among the best 25 cigars of 2007.

They describe the cigar as "wonderful, rich, hearty smokes and with lots of character." Additionally they said the Special R (which is the original name) "combines sweetness and woodiness in a pleasant package."

The Special R is manufactured in the Dominican Republic in Felipe Gregorio's factory. Felipe used for this cigar a Pelo de Oro Cuban seed, grown in Costa Rica.
